If you are looking for a simple way to do a liver cleanse at your home, then this video below is for you. In the video, a nutritionist discusses her favorite way of doing a liver cleanse, and provides you with a recipe on making a tea that will help assist your cleansing efforts.
The ingredients you need to make this liver detox tea, are dandelion root, burdock root, licorice root, fennel seed, chamomile flower and peppermint leaf. You can purchases these herbs from Pacific Botanicals and/or Mountain Rose, or possibly from the store.
Start with a handful of each of these herbs in a pot and let it boil. Then turn down the heat to low and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes. Then strain the liquid into a mason jar and drink it throughout the day. You can dilute it as much as you want, or add raw honey to it to help sweeten the tea. But, no matter how much you dilute the tea, make sure you drink all of it within that day.
This is how you create an all-natural liver cleanse tea that can help benefit the entire digestive tract.
